Bosnia & Herzegovina
CIET carried out six surveys in Bosnia & Herzegovina during the period 1994-1997, working principally with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and the World Food Programme (WFP). The main focus of these surveys was to monitor household food security. One survey evaluated a World Bank cash assistance programme, and another also studied the economic and social cost of land mines. Taken together, the six surveys provide a unique perspective on a wide range of health and social issues during the conflict in this region.
