Nicaragua: UNICEF Programme of Cooperation, 2013-2017
Within the framework of the UNICEF country programe for 2013-2017, CIET conducted a baseline survey among 4,507 households in 75 sentinel sites in 24 municipalities of the Central North and Caribbean Coast regions, priority areas for UNICEF’s curent country programme. The survey covered 11,617 children and adolescents on subjects such as care for pregnant women, low birth weight, birth registration, breastfeeding, nutrition, education, disabilities, quality of and access to clean water and other concerns affecting the rights of children.
An interim survey is planned for 2015 and a final one for 2017.
