Nutrition
Nutritional anthropometry has been one of CIET’s research tools from the very beginning. It has been used in Bosnia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Nicaragua, Somalia and Venezuela.
In Nepal, a geo-coded NGO Network Against Malnutrition was established with the participation of over 100 NGOs.
In Pakistan, the links between the mothers attainment of their own rights and their ability to give proper care to their young children — the Bond of Care — was the focus of provincial cycles in Sindh, Baluchistan and North West Frontier Province, in addition to eight districts of Punjab including Rawalpindi.
In Canada CIET assisted the Assembly of First Nations in an evaluation of the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Programme.
